BODYWORK
BODYWORXX combines remedial, deep tissue, therapeutic and sports massage techniques to help address muscular tension, discomfort and movement restrictions. Every treatment has a purpose: to release tension, support function and help your body find balance.
We start by understanding your concerns and where you feel restricted. Targeted soft-tissue work, sustained pressure, broader massage and gentle movement can be combined where suitable. The technique follows the purpose—not the other way around.
Depth is a tool, not the objective. We agree on the focus, adapt pressure to your response and allow time for feedback. Treatment should be controlled and considered, never a test of how much pain you can tolerate.
Release focuses on targeted remedial work. Restore supports sports, recovery and mobility. Rebalance offers gentler therapeutic massage and relaxation. Each pathway is adapted to you.
Start with what you feel, not a self-diagnosis. We work with relevant muscular tension and comfort; massage does not diagnose or promise to resolve an underlying condition. New, severe or unexplained symptoms and recent injuries should be assessed by an appropriate health professional before massage.

Your first appointment
You should understand what we are doing and why. Your appointment is a conversation as well as a hands-on treatment.
We discuss what is bothering you, relevant health considerations and what you want from the appointment.
We talk through movement, areas of tension, suitable pressure and any places you do not want treated.
Hands-on care is adapted to your response. Depth is controlled, feedback matters and you can ask for a change at any time.
We review how you feel and discuss sensible next steps. Further treatment is considered individually—not assumed.
What we work towards
Massage may help with perceived muscle tension, soreness and relaxation. Your response depends on the cause of your symptoms, your circumstances and the treatment used. No single session can promise a lasting fix.
Attention to the muscular concern that brought you here, with remedial techniques and pressure adapted to your circumstances.

I believe effective massage is not measured by how much pressure is applied, but by understanding the body, identifying areas of concern and applying the right techniques for the individual.
As a Qualified Bodywork Practitioner trained at Melbourne Muscular Therapies, I provide treatment tailored to your individual needs.
Whether you are an athlete, a gym or strength-training enthusiast, managing muscular discomfort, supporting injury recovery or simply seeking relaxation and relief from everyday tension, my approach remains the same: understand your concerns, identify what may be contributing to them and provide treatment with a clear purpose.
Some treatments call for focused, deeper muscular work. Others benefit from lighter pressure, gentle movement and time to relax.
Strong when you need it. Gentle when you want it. Always with purpose.
There is no one-size-fits-all treatment at BODYWORXX.
I take the time to listen, understand your concerns, discuss your goals and adapt each session to how your body responds.
My focus is not simply on where discomfort is felt, but on exploring the muscular tension and movement restrictions that may be contributing to it.
Your comfort, privacy and personal boundaries remain central to every treatment. You can ask questions, adjust the pressure or stop at any time.
Listening to your concerns, understanding your body and recognising your individual needs.
Applying considered techniques with a clear focus on muscular release, recovery, improved movement or relaxation.
Professional care built around communication, consent, privacy and personal comfort.
Selected according to suitability, your goals and your response—not automatically included in every treatment.

Sensora includes therapeutic bodywork, but it is a combined wellness experience rather than a remedial treatment. If you want targeted work on a recurring muscular concern, consider Release and discuss suitability with Mike.
Release, Restore and Rebalance welcome everyone. Choose targeted remedial work, sports and recovery care, or gentler therapeutic massage according to your goals. Contact me about age requirements or any specific treatment needs before booking.
Bodywork has a more focused purpose: working with muscular tension, soft tissues and your movement concerns. It may use slower, sustained pressure and attention to a particular area. Relaxation massage prioritises a calmer, broader experience. These are different treatment goals; one is not automatically better than the other.
No. More pain is not a measure of better treatment. Pressure is agreed with you and adjusted throughout. Let me know if a sensation becomes painful, sharp or uncomfortable; we change the approach rather than ask you to push through it.
BODYWORXX opens in Sunbury in December 2026, welcoming clients from Sunbury and the Macedon Ranges. Arrival details will be shared before appointments begin. This is a fixed-location practice, not a mobile service.
Sessions are personally provided by Mike Ellings—ME—business owner and Qualified Bodywork Practitioner, trained at Melbourne Muscular Therapies. We discuss your goals, pressure preferences, areas to avoid and relevant health considerations before starting. You can ask for a change or stop the treatment at any time.
Massage may help manage some muscular discomfort and tension, depending on the cause and your circumstances. It does not diagnose disease, guarantee recovery or replace medical care. New, severe, unexplained or persistent symptoms should be assessed by an appropriate health professional. Treatment is adapted or deferred if massage is unsuitable.
Please see a doctor first if you have pain travelling down a limb, numbness or tingling, frequent headaches, a recent injury, or unexplained symptoms. Seek urgent medical advice for severe or sudden symptoms. This guidance does not diagnose a condition; treatment may be adapted or deferred when massage is unsuitable.
Appointments can be booked through the booking page. The practice opens in December 2026, and appointment availability is shown there.
We discuss relevant injuries, health conditions, medications, allergies and treatment preferences privately before hands-on work. Please do not put detailed medical history into the opening waitlist. Wear comfortable clothing and contact me beforehand if you are unsure whether massage is suitable.
Health-fund rebates and provider eligibility have not been confirmed for this practice. Please ask before booking if a rebate is important to you. Do not assume your appointment is claimable.
